Eight zanies gathered on a cold, frosty morning for a club organized
fun run on state forest and water company land near Elysburg. Six of
the crew: Ruth Ann, Shelley, Paul, Larry Mills, Carmella, and Rick,
actually started around 7:15 to get in an additional eight miles.
Joel and I joined them at the parking area at around 9:00. We ran on
forestry road that was scenic and fortunately, with all of the ice,
flat. The adventurous crew of six logged between 12 and 14 miles.
Joel and I clocked considerably less. A good time was had by all. We
then drove to Ruth Ann's for coffee, muffins and to warm up.
Join us next Sunday, March 12th at the Montour Preserve at 2 pm. We
will park in the lot just past the parking area for the boat launch.
