I'm a 1st time rider and was wondering what types of bikes everyone has
rode in the past or plans to ride this year.

List the year, make and model please.  Include a brief description if
you wish.

I've got an old but trusty 10-speed.  It's relatively heavy but it get
the job done!  I can't wait!

Bob -- where's that place in Mt. Prospect?  My karaoke store on Gary is closed
on
Tuesdays, and I'll be in the area tomorrow...

Haven't gotten the song yet, so it may be a no-go.  Oh, and I don't own a
long-haired wig
for you...

I'm moving to Denver this month and wanted to ride the Michigander one
last time (I think it will be my 13th). However, I desperately need a
ride to anywhere in the metro Detroit area Friday after the ride. No
bike, no gear--just me. Will share gas--and driving if you wish. Plus,
I'm a really nice person (although I'll probably sleep if I don't
drive)!
Can anyone help me out??

That's how my son learned about biking, too!  He's been on many of
these tours.  This'll be my eleventh time!  Jeez!

I agree, bar burgers are the best!  Don't be afraid to check out the
small resturants in town, also.  That's how I discovered grilled
sandwiches way before Quizno's hooked on to them.

My second.  Last year was my first and I met two
wonderful guys who showed me what Michigan is about --
ride fast and hard so you can eat lunch in a pub.  (It
tastes best that way.)  :-)

By the way, do you know how to set this group so the
messages don't come to my e-mail?  I just wanted to be
able to go to "groups" and see what people have
written, not have it sent to e-mail... Thanks!

I like to commute by bike to get places, and I run,
ski, kayak, roller ski, etc., so I just self propel
