Also, the ISU decided to implement the new COP system for future
events, including the Grand Prix and 2006 Olympics. It will be
interesting to see how Michelle adjusts her programs to score well
under this new system.

The ISU also no longer requires women to wear skirts in competitions,
so we may see some pants next season. The allotted time for the short
program was extended to 2 minutes 50 seconds (maybe because of
Michelle at Worlds?).

Other news:

Jenny Kirk's new coach is Frank Carroll and her new choreographer is
Lori Nichol (both were formerly Michelle's up to 2002).

Sarah Hughes is considering to leave Yale in order to return to
competition.
