RE: [mermaidfriends] Training

The bike is really easy. I ride the course all the time it has two
steep hills one at the start and one at the finish other than that it is
relatively flat.

Subject: [mermaidfriends] Training

Hi there,

I'm training for a half marathon in October and I would love to do the
Mermaid Du on September 30. I'm just afraid since I haven't done any
bike training that I might not be able to finish or that I'd be very
slow. Is the race newbie friendly? Or should I wait until next year?

Also, any plans for training programs for the du/tri? I find the tri
clubs in sf a little intimidating and not many concentrate on Du.

Thanks,

Suzie

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I think I might just do the same and do it for the experience and train more seriously next year. Suzie...
