So disappointing that our Cardinals didn't play any good in the
World Series. Congratulations to the Champion Red Sox.

I feel sure Matt Morris is gone. I think Williams, Kline, Matheny
and Renteria may go. I hope they sign for less to stay in St.
Louis. Most players go for money. I also would like for Mabry and
Taguchi to stay for the bench.

Some money has been freed up, but the contracts have provided more
money for players who are staying. They are going after an ace
pitcher. I don't want Walt Jocketty to drain the team payroll and
give all our prospects. I'm sure he will put together another great
team for next year.

It looks like the Memphis Redbirds will have a huge turnover for
next year. There were a lot of injuries. Our whole pitching
staff. I liked most of the players, but things weren't clicking.
Chemistry? Most will be gone. A new group of players to learn.
Some phenom pitchers should be back, and hopefully we will see some
great pitching. Pitching (and defense) wins.

There are season tickets and package sales available. Now, you can
pick your games with the 20 & 30 game packages. I did.

I hope the owner/moderators do something about the spam. These
people spam groups and tell members, if you don't like it
unsubscribe from your group. I try to fight spam. Report them to
uce@.... You can try abuse@.... A group of citizens have
a group www.cauce.org. free trying to fight spam. Some spammers are
being indicted, now. It is late. In some individual group
messages, members can mark it as spam to yahoo. I do that. They
should be criminally punished. They are taking many hours of time
cleaning out their unsolicited commercial messages. They also aid
the virus senders. I can't imagine how some people get taken in
these schemes. They are a plague on the internet and the public.
