You may have noticed that Tasmanian Forests have featured in the media lately with John Howard stating "I would like to see, I think most Australians would like to see, an end to the logging of old growth forests, but not at the cost of throwing hard working Australians and their communities on the scrapheap. I will not see
those communities betrayed." A source has suggested the plan would protect significant areas of old growth forests including icon areas such as the Tarkine and the Styx Valley.
let's keep the pressure on!!
