Hey Parents..

I need your help... I am trying to make the meet staff schedule and I could use your help any time your available this weekend. I think I have plenty of score runners.

I need:

- timers for each event during each session. All you have to do is sit at each event and time warm ups

- someone to work the score board

- someone to check on the hospitality room

- and volunteers to work in the concession stand

- I was also wondering if anyone would like to make some breakfast snacks for saturday morning or if anyone had a good idea for something we can make and put in the hospitality room for dinner on friday...

if you can help with any of this we would greatly greatly appreciate it!!!

I have just recieved the information about the Level 4 Fun Meet. Level 4's do not have an actual "state meet" so a "fun meet" is hosted in its place. So this in so many words is the level 4 state meet.

It will be in Fort Smith on Saturday, March 14th. It will be approximately $95 per gymnast if ALL the level 4's go. The level 4's that went last year did very well and I would love for everyone to go again this year!!

Please let me know ASAP if you will be attending. I must have the entry fee's turned in by Friday, January 30th. I know this is short notice but as I said earlier I just recieved the info.

PLEASE let me know if you are attending and if you are please have your meet fee turned into the front desk by Thursday evening! I will be taking our entries first thing Friday morning and turning them into the meet director. There are no exceptions - if its not turned in by 7:30pm on Thursday, January 29th there is nothing I can do. They are very strict about deadlines with this meet.

Im trying to get back in the swing of things and get everyone caught up on meet fee's and when they are due.

Ok - I have the schedule & meet fee's for the Yankee Doodle Dandy meet in Pine Bluff!

Level 3 - $70

Jan 18th at 12:00pm - the girls will need to be there by 11:30am dressed and ready to go

Level 4 - $90

Jan 17th (my birthday!!) at 8:00am - the girls will need to be there by 7:45 dressed and ready to go

Level 5 - $90

Jan 17th at 8:00am - the girls will need to be there by 7:45 dressed and ready to go

Level 6 - $90

Jan 17th at 12:30pm - Katherine needs to be there by 12:00pm

Meet fee's need to be paid by Tuesday December 23rd. Remember that we are closed next week and only the team kids have practice from 9-1:00pm on Monday and Tuesday, so no one will be here after 1:00. We will open back up on the 29th and this is the absolute last day you can pay for the Pine Bluff meet. We have to have a check in the mail by the 29th.

Kelly - I was wondering if you could have a quick session with all the
girls from Mega about sportsmanship.  I know yesterday when my girls
got last place, they were so upset they looked like they were about to
cry.  We have tried to explain to them that no matter what place they
get they're still representing Mega and they need to smile and use
their manners.  But, I don't think we're getting across to them.  I
thought it would be better coming from Mega to stress to all of the
girls the importance of team sportsmanship.  I'm sorry for asking you
to do this, seeing that these are our kids, but we know they respect
the coaches opinions.
