Parking at Barnhill Arena will be somewhat hectic Friday. I have recieved an email from Donna Meinecke, the meet director for the Santa meet. I am passing that on to you.

 

Hello everyone,

I'm writing to inform you all of our parking issues at the University. Between the hours of 12pm and 5:00pm the University will be ticketing all cars parked in unauthorized parking spaces.

UGHHHHHHHH This is a pain every year! I need you to inform you gymnasts parents and coaches that the options for parking are few.

What I suggest is having the parents drop the gymnasts off at Barnhill, then park their cars in the parking deck off of Stadium drive. It is the easiest thing to do. The University also is letting us use parking lot #75 (Garland and Douglas) but it's not very close to Barnhill.

One more option, there are metered parking spaces in parking lot #67  (Off Meadow) just below Barnhill in the soft ball parking lot. It is also a good option.

You could also just take a chance.... but they are so good at catching you. I am very sorry. I just wanted to let everyone know ahead of time.

There is no problem on Satuday or Sunday.  You can park anywhere.
