Hey everyone!

This is Jennifer Robins, mom to Ellie (Level 4) and Lucy (L9). Tammy
asked me to send a note out about Lucy and Jessica doing so well at
Regionals this past weekend and qualifying for Western Nationals. This
is a really BIG DEAL! Only the best Level 9 girls in Arkansas make it
to Regionals, which was this past weekend in Wichita. In our region, we
compete with Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, and Wyoming. To qualify
to Westerns, you have to score in the top 40% of your age group at
Regionals. Truth is, there are many years in which no kids from
Arkansas qualify for Westerns. Many TX kids train 30-35 hours per week
and have special schools to enable their training. Here we don't have
that option, so it's quite a feat to compete against those kids, AND
WIN!

Please take a moment to congratulate the girls (and Coach Dennis) on
this accomplishment. They are Mega's first Western National Qualifiers!
