As many of you know, the US Forest Service is revising the National Forest Plan for the Pike and San Isabel National Forest for the first time in nearly 20 years, and is holding public meetings about the process. If you care about what happens in the forest, you should attend these meetings.
The first Pike/San Isabel National Forest Plan local meeting was held a few weeks ago in Black Forest, and many who tried to attend were turned away at the door because the venue was full.
The USFS has scheduled a second public input meeting for the Colorado Springs area, to be held on March 6, from 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Doubletree
Hotel near the World Arena, 1775 E. Cheyenne Mountain Blvd.
There are also meetings in the Pueblo, Westcliffe, and other areas.

See you at the meeting, and thanks again for your support of Medicine Wheel.
