We need YOU!
CHEYENNE MTN STATE PARK TRAIL BUILDING DAY
When? Saturday, August 12 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Where: Black Bear Coffee Shop, next to the Safeway at Highway 115 and
South Academy Blvd.
(we will shuttle from there)
All volunteers are welcome and no experience is needed.
Medicine Wheel will provide all tools needed. Volunteers should wear
long pants and hiking shoes, bring work gloves, sunscreen, a water
bottle, a hat and a snack, and possibly rain gear. Please, no dogs or
children.
Medicine Wheel of the Pikes Peak Region is teaming up with CSYP to
provide an opportunity to see the newest state park at the south end of
Colorado Springs and to help create some of the coolest riding and
hiking trails in the area. Medicine Wheel has built about two miles of
singletrack trails in the park over the last three years, and we need
your help finishing off our latest trail. If you haven't seen Cheyenne
Mountain State Park, this is a great chance to see it, legally, before
it opens on October 21, 2006.
Medicine Wheel will provide snacks and drinks (but no lunch) and after
we're done working, the first round at Bristol Brewery will be on the
house!
PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL TO LET US KNOW IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND.
SIGNUP WILL BE LIMITED TO 20 PEOPLE.
Thanks!
