TRAINING OPPORTUNITY
COTI Crew Leader Training for Restoration Projects
March 17 (evening), 18, & 19 at St. Vrain State Park
$25/person (does not include meals or lodging)

Become a better resource steward by learning how to effectively lead
volunteers and/or staff in restoring natural resources. Through
classroom
sessions, field exercises and role-playing you will learn and practice
the
skills of seedbed preparation and seeding, planting and transplanting
and
erosion control practices; as well as leadership strategies and
techniques;
tool use; and safety. This training is taught by COTI Instructors using
COTI's "Guide to Crew Leadership for Restoration". The training is
sponsored by Wildland Restoration Volunteers organization.
