Okay all of you closet bicycle advocates that just have been waiting to get involved in the political arena with the intent of bettering cycling opportunities in the Pikes Peak region. This is the chance to get to know the movers and shakers in our community. Whether it is trail access, bicycle commuter routes or even safe bike routes to school for kids it all happens here.

Really ... this group is working to make it happen for all of us and they need your help.

Bicycle Industry representatives:
Retailers, Manufacturers, R & D, Tourism, Coaches, Non-Profits, National Governing Bodies,

For over three years the Pikes Peak Area Bikeways Coalition has been working to improve cycling in our community.  We are attempting to take bicycle advocacy to a new level.  To make that happen we need to demonstrate a coordinated effort and would appreciate you coming to hear about the plan and some opportunities we have to boost cycling in the Pikes Peak Region.
We are not asking for money but we know how we can influence the spending of some some, if we work together.
Attached is the meeting agenda.  If you have any questions, please call (266-6846) or e-mail me.  Please encourage anyone involved in cycling enough to want to improve it to attend the meeting.  I've tried to capture the industry but don't have all of the bike related  businesses' e-mail addresses.  Please forward this on to anyone I've omitted.
Thanks
Al Brody
Chair, PPABC
