Garden of the Goddesses Contemplative Trail
in Red Rock Canyon Open Space in Colorado Springs
Trail Building Day: Sunday, May 1st
This is the first of four trail building days spread over three months. This trail is a walking only moderate trail with an 18” to 24” tread that will take hikers through intimate nature close to the red sandstone uplifts.
An unusual aspect of this project is an optional May Day Circle Ceremony at the end of the day. This is an all-volunteer project under the guidance of the city. We expect nearly 100 volunteer and need 15 crew leaders for basic trail building.
