Palmer Park Trail Work Day - Saturday Oct. 30   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #353 of 616 |

Greetings,

Many thanks to those eleven people who came out last Saturday for some
trail work in Palmer Park. It was hard work, we got a lot
accomplished. But the job is not yet finished. Is trail work ever
finished?

Who: You
What: Trail Work
When: Saturday, Oct. 30 9:00 am
Where: Palmer Point Trail
Meet: Templeton Gap Rd cul-de-sac at Austin Bluffs Parkway

We will be finishing up work started last Saturday. This is on the
Palmer Point Trail in the very northwest corner of the park. We did
some major drainage work, along with some very nice rock work (I told
you rockhounds to be there).

To get to the meeting place, on Union, south of Austin Bluffs, and
north of Fillmore, turn east on Templeton Gap Road (the only way to
turn) and proceed to the cul-de-sac at the end. We hope to see you
there. If we have bad weather, then we'll try again on the following
Saturday, Nov. 6.

Happy Trails,

Phil Yearsley
Trail work coordinator
