Hey Wheelers,
Happy fall, it's still warm, the leaves are turning, and the sky is somehow more blue than it was just last week. It's been a great summer and I begin can't tell everyone how much I appreciate all of the efforts. Everywhere I go I here nothing but appreciation about your hard work. You all deserve a special dose of sincere gratitude. You help us all to continue living the dream here on the Front Rangel..., thanks.
Fall Project:
We have been invited to join the City of Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation Department in the development of the first official "Freeride Park" sanctioned by the City, which will be located in Red Rock Canyon. As it stands right now they are looking for Medicine Wheel to take a lead role in this project. They are asking for our input, expertise and guidance in the development of a sustainable freeride system.
I have some information, but I currently need as many success stories from around the globe as we can get to help with the comfort levels associated with the construction of special apparatuses.
We will have an opportunity in October to begin this planning process. Any interested parties are encouraged to contact me as soon as possible. I would like to set a preliminary meeting during the first half of Oct. to set some goals.
"Biketoberfest," October 30th at the the Criterium Bike Shop
Once again the Criterium has designated the Medicine Wheel as a beneficiary of one of their premium events. A good time is guaranteed to be had by all. Mark your calendar and stay tuned for more info, or call the Criterium at 599-0149 and ask for Robert.
Until then cheers and happy trails,
josh
