Learn how to lead a crew on your own volunteer project or become one
of VOC's finest by attending this training! Crew leaders are the
backbone of the VOC organization and play an essential role on our
projects by guiding a crew of volunteers to complete a section of a
project. In this 2 1/2-day weekend training, you will learn the
following skills:
• Practice Leadership
• Team Building
• Basic Safety Skills
• Proper Tool Usage
• Basic Trail Construction
If you would like to become a VOC Crew Leader following the
training, you can complete the program by serving as a
"trainee" on
VOC projects, mentoring with a senior crew leader and, when ready,
graduating. This process generally takes 1-3 projects.

* To qualify for this rate you must have attended 2 or more VOC
projects in the last 12 months

For complete information about these trainings, visit us at
http://www.voc.org/Training.cfm You can also contact us at 303-715-
