Just a reminder that this Saturday, May 15th, we will be holding a ride and orientation in Cheyenne Mountain State Park for all those wishing to be guides (or docents) for the planned scheduled rides in the park this summer.
Cheyenne Mountain State Park will be closed to all public access until its official opening in late 2004, except for some planned, regularly scheduled guided hikes and rides, similar to what's happening in Red Rock Canyon Park. Medicine Wheel members have the opportunity to act as guides for the rides this summer, and that time will count as volunteer time towards the 50 hours needed for a free State Parks pass, good anywhere in the state.
