Greetings,
Medicine Wheel would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who volunteered to help us out in 2003. Last Sunday, we held a volunteer appreciation ride in Cheyenne Mountain State Park and it was an outstanding success!
About 30 people showed up to ride the new trails and hear a presentation by Rich Dudley of the State Parks Department about the planned development and opening of the park. We now expect that the park should open to the public during the first half of 2004.
It was a beautiful fall day and you can see photos of the event at www.medwheel.org/park
Special thanks to Rich Dudley for making this event possible, and again thanks to all our volunteers, especially those who couldn't make the ride!
Finally, a reminder that even though trail work may stop during the winter, Medicine Wheel's advocacy efforts continue all year round. If you are interested in helping us with our advocacy efforts, feel free to contact Josh, Phil, Paul, or Jim. You can find our contact information at www.medwheel.org/allabout.html
