The final meet of the swim series is 2 weeks away at the Talbot County YMCA.  Changes are being made to test out a new process — we’re going fully electronic.  The goal is to have complete results posted the next day.  Here are the changes you need to be aware of:

1. We are offering pre-registration for swimmers who know the events they plan to swim.  It’s optional, and changes can be made on deck at the meet if required.   To pre-register, send an email to lane8@... with your name, event #, and seed time by Wednesday, March 21.  Again, it’s optional but advance registrations will help the meet run more smoothly.  See below for event list.
2. Please check-in at the registration table as soon as you arrive — before starting your warm-up.  Warm-ups begin at 4:00pm, and we’d like to have all registrations completed by 4:15 or as soon as possible.
3. We will not return registration cards with heat/lane assignments after you register.  Rather, we will post heat sheets on the walls in the pool area.  It is the swimmer’s responsibility to check heat and lane assignments on these sheets.
   

We are hosting a chili cook-off and post-race party, so we hope you’ll join us and cast your vote for the best TCY chili!

One more thing — a note about parking.  If the parking lot at the YMCA is full, park next door behind St. Mark’s church.
