Howard County Audience Supporters Needed to Attend Budget Hearing

We need people to sit in the audience to support speakers who will advocate for the county's first 50-meter pool. That's a pretty easy task! We're not asking you to speak; just to stand in support.
 
Please consider sacrificing an hour or two this Thursday evening, March 6 to show County Executive Ken Ulman that you support a public 50-meter pool. A couple of hours is a small price to pay for a potentially large payoff. 

A unified "stance" to bring a 50-meter pool to Howard County is much more powerful with the backing of MANY audience supporters than with just a handful of speakers.
 
We stand a better chance of convincing not only Mr.Ulman of our support for a pool, but also of convincing the Revenue Authority that the 50-meter pool project should remain at the #2 spot on their short list of capital projects. We're in a pretty good spot. Let's not blow it with apathy! 
 
We know everyone's busy and overextended (and the last thing we need is to add one more thing to our plates, right?) ... but please consider SHOWING your support by sitting in the audience at Thursday's hearing.
