Kathy, we should discuss it now as I am working on the schedule. The early
season is pretty full but the real problem is wet trails and rain. We can
always find a good date.
Here are my initial thoughts and comments.
Races are run by teams or clubs. Do you have an organization of volunteers that
will be involved?
I assume you will have to coordinate with park management and DTS. Has it been
discussed at all?
Do you have a parking lot and start\finish area that can handle 500 people?
I will be back in my office Friday and we can talk on the phone more then.

This is Kathy Riddell again...I never got a chance to get up with you at Bear
Creek. I ride for Bike line and wanted to speak with you about the possiblitiy
of getting a race added to this next years schedule to benefit the Police Unity
Tour - which raises money for officers killed in the line of duty. I wanted to
try to do something early on, probably at white clay creek, which I know some
people would like to ride but dont get a chance. It wouldnt be real technical,
and not a whole lot of climbing, but would be a good warm up race for the
season. JW knows me and could vouch for my committment. Is there a time we can
speak or would this meeting be a good time? Thanks John.
