This is sort of a "Chicken or the egg" argument, but I'll try to keep
from resulting to cheap trash talking...

Of course guys like Webb and Podsednik deserve REAL consideration.
Sorry Mr D-Back fan...Podsednik more than Webb. Individual stats are
a major factor, so based on that fact Podsedik would probably be
ahead of Dontrelle and Webb. But historically the ROY selection have
gone to players who have made a major impact on their team's
performance when there have been muliple SERIOUS contenders.

Based on that, Willis is the ROY. Podsednik is a godsend for the
Brewers, but they have never been close to contending this year. Webb
has been consitent, but the fact remains he has not won and his team
has not won the majority of his starts (not necessarily his fault,
but still a fact). Willis not only has had a mjor impact onnhis
team's won-loss record, but he has made the greatest impact not only
on his team, but also in the pennant race.

Having said that...Webb may turn out to be the greater long-term
pitcher (sort of like a right-handed Tom Glavine). But Dontrelle has
to be the ROY. For the record...Angel Berroa is the AL ROY
