I'm so glad that fans are enjoying Eckstein and Grudzielanek. I was a
fan of Eckstein too, when he played for the Angels.
I think it might have been last season, or even the season before,
when Grudzie was with the Cubs, I bought tickets for when the Cubs
were coming to LA, and no sooner did I order my tickets, and print out
my receipt that I got an e-mail news alert about him getting hit in
the hand with the ball and his hand being broken. So, I didn't get to
see him play, but I had a perfect view of him sitting in the corner of
the dugout, but sitting near the top step out from under the cover. I
think I might be going to a Cardinal/Dodger game out here.
Grudzie is a good guy, sometimes he get a bad rep, like when certain
things happened around here, there was a whole, HUGE news story about
how he and the Dodger manager weren't getting along, etc. But, he's a
good player, one that likes to be out on the field everyday and
getting dirty.
I've got a Grudzielanek jersey t-shirt, I saw them at Dodger stadium
only ONCE, and snatched it while I could. It's ood though, 'cause
it's totally different from the other Dodger player shirts I have
bought (all the players of which are NO longer on the Dodgers), it's
different material, and I got it in the same size as all my others,
and it's completely huge... yeah, after that time, I never saw any
Grudzie shirts for sale.
