Got this from the Cubs website.

"Infielder Mark Grudzielanek (sprained right ankle) was walking
without a cane but unable to take part in drills. "It feels OK," he
said. "It's just taking time to get the swelling down."

First baseman Eric Karros made an appearance for the first time in
nearly a week. The virus that has crept through the clubhouse hit him
hard. His temperature reached 102 -- and that was in the morning,
Karros said.

"I went through about five shirts each night, drenched (with sweat),"
he said. "I spent Monday in the hospital getting stuff and went back
in again Tuesday. I had IVs, breathing treatments, shots. I did all
kinds of medications."

On Saturday, Karros said he'd be lucky just to take part in the
morning stretch. How bad was it?

"I'll put it this way -- I called the trainers here Tuesday morning
and told them I needed somebody to help get me out of the house and
get me to the hospital because I couldn't do anything. I couldn't
move," he said. "I'm day to day to day to day."

I hope they both get healthy soon!!!!

Lauren
