Scary moments at Edison Field last night, when Jordan bumped Mark on
the back of his head with his knee while trying to get a shallow fly
ball to RF. Grud couldn't get out of the way in time.
"Grudzielanek, the Dodgers' second baseman, left the game with a
slight concussion an inning after Jordan caught David Eckstein's
seventh-inning flyball in short right field and inadvertently struck
the back of Grudzielanek's head with his knee."
That totally had to hurt!! Jorand played in the NFL for 3 years, so
hopefully it didn't bother his knee too much.
Mark was able to finish the inning but then came out of the game. It
must be hard to communicate on the field in Anaheim, on Friday night
Salmon and Erstad let a ball fall between them, Saturday Green and
Roberts collided, and last night Grudzielanek, and Jordan.
The Dodgers are in Arizona.
