I think Odalis Perez is an amazing pitcher, and I'm soo happy about

Dodgers LHP Perez named NL Player of Week

NEW YORK (TICKER) -- Los Angeles Dodgers lefthander Odalis Perez, who
is off to a fast start with his new team, was named National League
Player of the Week on Monday.

Perez, acquired in a January trade with the Atlanta Braves, won both
of his starts with a 1.53 ERA last week. He went the distance in a 5-
2 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Monday and earned the decision
in a 4-1 win over the San Diego Padres on Saturday.

In 17 1/3 innings, Perez allowed 11 hits, walked three and struck out
10. For the season, Perez is 2-1 with a 2.15 ERA.
