Re: Anyone here?? Looking dismal for the beginning...

YOU KNOW I WAS KINDA SCARED AND DISCOURAGED CUZ WE DIDNT COME OUT THE
FIRSTCOUPLE GAMES SMOKING IT UP AND HEN I GRABBED MY THOUGHTS AND
SAIDSO WE DIDNT WIN OUR FIRST GAME SO OUR PITCHERS DIDNT SHUT THEM
DOWN BIG DEAL OUR BATS WERENT OUTTA CONTROL. WE HAVE MANY MORE GAMES
ITS THE START OF SEASON,WE ARE ADJUSTING TOO ALOT OF NEW CHANGES AND
FACES MAINLY BEING BOB MELVIN IN LOU'S SPOT ON THE BENCH. AND BELIEVE
ME WE IN SEATTLE HAVE HAD THE BEST MANAGER IN THE GAME FOR 10 YEARS
NOW WE HAVE A FIRST YEAR ROOKIE MANAGER SO HOW HIGH CAN OUR
EXPECTATIONS BE WHEN WE ARE REPLACING THE BEST FOR A GUY THAT HAS
NEVER BEEN THE SKIPPER ON ANY TEAM BEFORE.WE CANT EXPECT WHAT WE HAD
IN LOU YET BUT WE DO EXPECT A GREAT MANAGER AND HE WILL BE GOOD HE
WILL MOLD IN HE HAS BRIAN PRICE NEXT TO HIM WHO HAS BEEN NEXT TO LOU
FOR MANY YEARS SO IN A SENSE WE STILL HAVE LOU'S STYLE AND WAYS WITH
US AS LONG AS PRICE AND MELVIN WORK GOOD TOGETHER WE WILL ADJUST. AND
THEY SAY CATCHERS MAKE THE BEST MANAGERS IN THE GAME AND IF YOU LOOK
AT WINNING MANAGERS IS THE PAST AND PRESENT YOU WILL SEE IT IS
TRUE.ALSO LOOK AT WHAT HAPPEND LAST YEAR WE SMOKED ASS FIRST HALF
THEN AFTER ALL-STAR BREAK WE FELL APPART AND THE TEAM THAT WAS HOW
FAR BACK CAME TO PASS US UP AND WIN THE WORLD SERIES.MAYBE WE WILL BE
THAT TEAM THIS YEAR AS LONG AS WE KEEP A REASONABE DISTANCE AND PLAY
AVERAGE BALL WE SHOULD BE WELL ADJUSTED BY THE ALL-STAR BREAK AND
AFTER THE SECOND HALF TAKE OFF AND BE THE TEAM THAT CAME BACK TO WIN
THE SERIES.AND IF WE ARE WISE WE WILL DO WHAT WE DIDNT DO IN OFF
SEASON AND PICK UP A STRONG LEFTY FOR THE ROTATION. I ALSO BELIEVE
ITS NOT EVEN ABOUT MELVINS MANAGING ITS ABOUT OUR TEAM BEING HEALTHY
AND PLAYING GOOD BALL CUZ THATS WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO MANAGERS CAN
SAY ALL THEY WANT HOW TO DO IT BUT WHEN IT COMES TO IT ITS HOW THE
BALL WAS HIT AND HOW THAT PLAYERS MAKES THE PLAY AND WHEN THE BAT IS
SWUNG IF THE PLAYERS SWINGS OR LETS IT RIDE BYE AND ONLY THE PLAYERS
REACTIONS AND DECISIONS CAN DETERMIN THAT OUTCOME.WE HAVE A VERY
STRONG TEAM WITH MORE THAN POTENTIAL AND WE HAVE PROVEN WE CAN PLAY
BALL AND WIN GAMES SO IM NOT GONNA TRIP CUZ ITS OUR TURN TO GET A
RING AND EDGAR IS PROBABLY ON HIS WAY OUT AFTER THIS YEAR SO THIS
TEAM NEEDS TO GIVE HIM A WS RING FOR ALL HE HAS ACCOMPLISHED FOR OUR
TEAM AND THE GAME OF BASEBALL. SO AS I END THIS BOOK I LEAVE SAYING
THIS WE THE FANS ARE JUST AS MUCH OF THE TEAM AS THE TEAM THEMSELVES
AND WHEN WE GET LOUD AND GET PUMPED UP SO DO THEY BUT WHEN WE GET
DISCOURAGED AND GIVE UP ON THEM THEY DO THE SAME SO LETS KEEP SAFECO
SOLD OUT AND STICK BEHIND OUR BOYS NO MATTER HOW THEY PLAY
