I'm sick of the press beating up on Manny, too. It's ridiculous. If anyone
else said the same thing that Manny said, it would not have been taken out
of context like that.

On a happier note, my son's team finished second in the league! He got a
little trophy. Honestly, there was a real bad call. We were tied at 5-5. The
other team came around to home and was CLEARLY out. The ump called it safe.
That put them one ahead and we weren't able to score again. I'm not saying
that we definitely would have won, but we would have at least gone into
extra innings and who knows what would have happened. And, I'm not saying it
s a bad call just because it was my son's team that lost. When the boy came
around home, even the other team's spectators all groaned because they
thought he was out. It was kind of funny... you hear groaning over there and
cheering on our side. Then, the ump says "safe" and the groaning and
cheering switched sides. LOL!
