Hi Angelica, thanks for your comments. I'm glad Manny has the option
to veto a trade too. I hadn't heard about the National League
comments. I believe Manny talked to Gammons after all the negative
things he's said the past few years. Maybe his manager made the
statement. If he did go to the Nationals, let it be the Mets. I could
live with that. They're my second favorite team. My boyfriend
has been a Met fan since he was a child. This would really make his
day. I don't want this to happen though. If Manny went to the National
League would make a huge different in the game of baseball, that's for
sure.

Michael Wilbon on ESPN's PTI said yesterday he doesn't want to hear
anything else about a Manny trade until the springtime. He said this
happens every year and in the end Manny is still with the Red Sox. I
have to agree with him. Being such a huge fan I find it troublesome.
Seriously, I end up stressing about the rumors. I wish I could ignore
the news articles, television shows, and those nasty columnists, but I
can't. So I'll keep reading and posting the rumors.
