Me again. I just came across another short trade story:

"The Boston Globe's Gordon Edes and The San Francisco Chronicle are
both reporting Boston Red Sox OF Manny Ramirez could be traded to one
of three National League teams shortly. The San Diego Padres were
identified as "an interested party" by a team source, there was
further confirmation that the San Francisco Giants had spoken with the
Red Sox about Ramírez, and the Los Angeles Dodgers were among the
teams that have inquired about him."

A part of me would love to have him out here in California, but I'd
rather he stay in Boston. The Red Sox won't be the same without him.
Do you think he'd really take a trade? I thought he wanted to be a Red
Sox until he retired? I'm so confused... :(
