Since September 11th, 2001 A renewed interest in Islam has been found
by the media. But are the right questions being asked? Is Islam a
religion of peace? If so, is it a political, economic and judicial
system consistent with a democratic society?

What is Khilafism? Does a khilafate recognize such modern devices
as "Equal protection under the law"? Does a political system that
once took children away from their parents as a form of taxation have
a place in the 21st century?

This forum introduces select news stories from the media that will,
hopefully, bolster greater understanding of khilafism and its impact
on modern society.
