Hello everyone,

The 2008 NE Champs will be held on Sunday, June 1st from 9am to 5pm at the Falmouth Community Park in Falmouth Maine.

The tournament fee is $100 per team and the event is sanctioned by the UPA. This means that all participating players must be UPA members and that all teams must submit a roster through the UPA's online rostering system.

The tournament will be comprised of two open teams from each of the following states: VT, NH, ME, MA, and CT. There will be two pools of 5 made up of one team from each of the five represented states. After pool play there will be direct crossover games to determine final placing.

If there is interest there will be a 4-5 team girls division. Girls teams are encouraged to submit a bid.

Interested teams must contact me by Friday, 5/16. Selected teams will be notified that evening. Payment information will follow after teams have been selected. Selection criteria includes: Strength of team, geographic representation, team organization, and history at the event.
