I got the following from Kyle Weisbrod, UPA director of Youth Development. Any interest out there for a Spring Coaches Clinic? Looks like we'd need about 20 to make it worthwhile.

Dear Local Contacts and State Youth Coordinators,
 
The UPA is now in the process of scheduling GAIA-UPA Level I Coach Clinics for 2007.  We plan to run between 16 and 18 Level I Clinics in 2007 and need your help to gain information necessary to schedule locations.  You are receiving this e-mail because you requested a clinic in your area or you are a UPA State Youth Coordinator. 
 
For each clinic we require a local coordinator.  The local coordinator will be responsible for clinic logistics under the guidance of the clinic instructor.  In exchange for their help, the local coordinator will be able to attend the clinic for free (UPA Membership is still required).  The full description of the role of the local coordinator is attached.
 
Thirty-two communities have expressed interest in hosting clinics.  While we may not choose your location for a 2007 clinic, we will keep your location and contact information on file for potential future clinic dates.
