The hills are considered gradual. This course is used maybe 10 times a
year for local 10K races, so the "masses" approve of its "degree of
difficulty". I'm going to post some photos on the website next week -
hopefully enough to cover most of the course. As for composition, there
are no trails as the USATF road championship must be run on road.
You'll see that most of the road surfaces are blacktop, less than half
on concrete streets, and a couple of blocks on a sidewalk. There are
permanent mileposts all the way around.

Has anyone run the 10K loop the race is run on? The website has an
elevation map and it looks pretty flat but I can't tell if the hills
are short and steep or more gradual. Also, is the entire course on
asphalt or are there some trails and some sidewalks? Just wondering...
