first, thanks again to everyone, and i mean it, EVERYONE... you all
are doing so well. I'm not just saying it either. I really do
appreciate all the hard work all of you put in to classes and the
group as a whole.

So to recap tonight.. .and for those that werent there:

1) Kids batizado and tournament the third weekend in October. More
details to come... This is for kids ages 6-14 Train hard!!!

2) Adult batizado and encounter (yes im thinking of doing an
encounter) In march again.. I talked with Mestre and we are just going
to do one adult batizado per yer in Miami. remember though there are
actually 5 Maculele batizados per year in the states

3)Thank you David for being the first to contribute to the screen
printing machine! I am currently taking donations of $100 for a t
shirt screen printer so that we wont have to outsource shirts. This
will help keep down costs in the future of uniforms not only for us
but for Maculele as a whole. Oh and if you donate, your batizado is
free :)

4)Green light on Casa Maculele... more to come

5)Green light on bringing Instrutor Padeiro to Miami.. more to come

6)Gainesville Brazilian Night September 22nd .. Borracha said $40
would cover all workshops, the party and everything else... workshops
will be about 10 a piece...

7) NEW ORLEANS BATIZADO Sept 27th... NO ONE from miami went to atl...
everyone was asking about you guys and was wondering why no one went
when there were a ton of ppl that flew down from atl to support us in
our batizado... Remember guys, capoeira is more than a workout, its a
family and we need to support each other.. If you arent going to N O
let me know why. Otherwise be there.

There is a lot more going on as well. I wish i had more time in and
out of class to involve more ppl. I can't go after everyone though.
So if you have some spare time/energy come to me. Ask "hey what can I
do Mico to help the group?" :)

I love you guys a lot.. just train harder and keep pushing yourselves
out of your comfort zone.
