Tri-California is sponsoring a Tri-California Junior Racing Team. Team
members must be between the ages 10-18 years old. The team will be
coached by Sharon Osgood, USA Triathlon expert level coach and Director
of Coaching for Tri-California Events. The team will be based out of
the Monterey Bay area and will represent Tri-California at triathlons
throughout the year. The benefits of the racing team are: training and
racing with others; improve skills through expert coaching; learn to
train properly; and have fun and meet new friends. An informational
meeting for interested juniors and parents will be held at the Monterey
Peninsula College Swim Pool on Thursday February 27th at 6:00 PM. The
meeting will go over the opportunities, requirement, and
responsibilities of both the athletes and the parents as well as the
commitment to the team.
