I am with Jeff on eating a meal. Your bodys motabalism continues after you stop exercising so your carbo stores continue to be eaten away. You need to carb up immediately after the race so your body will burn what you eat. This will cause you to feel better later that evening and the next day.

Accelerade is for during workouts like gatorade and Endurox R4 is for post workout or a recovery drink. Personally I think you'll get the same effect post workout as long as you eat a decent meal. If for some reason you can't eat then a recovery drink would/could be a good substitute. I try and use real food whenever possible.
