Greetings and Happy New Year,
It you will be racing on the east coast this spring or at the Armed Forces Championships in the cold Pacific in June, it is not too early to start thinking about your open water swimming options.
A long sleeve wetsuit can prove very beneficial in temperatures under 70 degrees and is essential in waters that are below 60-65 degrees. Additionally, it can also keep you much warmer prior to the race start if you have a long wait on the beach in the cold morning air. The warmth provided will allow you to get into your race pace much better.Conversely, a sleeveless (Farmer John style) will allow you a more fluid arm turnover and not make you overheat in waters above 68 degrees or so. Having both a full and sleeveless wetsuit allows you to be prepared for any water conditions.
IRONMAN WETSUITS will once again offer a special military and government price on their wetsuits throughout the year. Orders are placed directly to Ironman Wetsuits by fax using a special military purchase form and the wetsuits are mailed directly back to you. I will act as the liaison to answer any questions on the products and ensure that the offer is publicized to the military community. It is requested that the purchases be limited to military/government individuals, family members or as gifts but not for resale.Prices are close to cost and provide a significant savings compared to market purchases . 2004 prices should carry over with only slight changes. 2004 prices listed: They also have the Femme fit specific cut for female athletes
STEALTH FULLSUIT $298.00 STEALTH LONG JOHN $193.00
INSTINCT FULLSUIT $196.00 INSTINCT LONG JOHN $126.00If you are interested in finding out more or would like a purchase form emailed to you, please reply to this email or my home address at marocccos@.... Please feel free to pass this on to anyone that would meet the purchase requirements.
Best of times in 2005.
