have to say that there is to much nonsense surrounding
how chi sao should or should not be played.<br><br>It
should be remembered that as well as training the basics
of Wing Chun, Chi Sao is there to expand the mind as
well as hone the students ability.<br><br>If you play
chi sao the same each time you will improve but not
develop. In order to get things right you must firstly get
things wrong, and it is those who dare to experiment,
who will develop true skill and
understanding.<br><br>I use everything and anything to test my students
in chi sao. If they get through then I will try the
technique again, if still it does not work then I will use
it to draw their attack and deal with it from
there.<br><br>At the end of the day chi sao is a fun game with no
winners or losers but with learning at all
