This is so true,Sifugen.<br>Our art has
traditionaly been credited to the spirit of the female if not
out right pioneers.<br>Lately,there has been hot
debate over the role ladies such as Ng Moi,Yim Wing Chun
and the" Speck of Dust" nun, played in the
development of WC.<br>In my opinion, Yim Wing Chun made a
mistake in teaching only her husband this cherished
art,then not another woman wqs taught until the 20th
century.<br>I honestly don't know what the real contrabutions
were from the famous females of our art,but I think
the fact their names have been venerated since day
one in a majorly male dominated society loth to
recognise the potential of women says it all .<br>WC
rewards a lucid player big time and to not recognise the
lesson of the woman is to miss out on much of the
potential .<br>My second WC sifu was a woman and she can
kick my butt six ways to Sunday.<br>Good luck with the
