Hello Everyone! In a previous message I mentioned that our workouts will begin
on Monday, April 20th and will be every Monday evening (except holidays) until
early October.
We have, however, decided to have a kick off workout that will be open to the
public join us on this coming Thursday, March 9th, at 5:30pm. The location is
TBD and will be announced early next week. We will have 2 workout options for
you: You can either come and swim laps in an indoor pool or you can join us for
a run. The run will likely be an indoor track.
We are hosting this workout in conjunction with US TriSports who is the company
that is hosting the three triathlons that are new to our area this year
(Daybreak, RockCliff, and Stansbury Island).
We will have Luna Sports bottles, chapsticks, and luna bar products to hand out
to those that participate in our kick off.
In addition, our UofU Triathlon Coaches will be in attendance to help with
questions.
We will divide our team up so that we have beginner (walking, jogging, or
lighter laps swims), intermediate (running but only about 3-4 miles), and
advanced (long distance running or harder lap swim options).
