2009 Woman of Steel Registration open at noon today (Jan. 5th)

A reminder that registration for the 2009 Woman of Steel Triathlon on Saturday, May 16th at the American Fork Fitness Center.

Registration opens today (Monday, January 5th) at noon on  http://www.active.com  The direct link is:

There is no price increase for 2009, and the race filled in only a few weeks in 2008. It will likely fill even sooner this year! Registration will be limited once again to the first 500 athletes. Charity spots are also available and may be tax-deductible.

Note that the age limit for participants is 12 years old. Two and three person relay teams are welcome, but remember that each team member must register individually on active.com

We will be providing a non-mandatory question in the registration form for you to make your nomination for the 2009 Woman of Steel award. Note this person must be racing the 2009 Woman of Steel Triathlon.

Swim and Triathlon training classes in Lehi

 

Kristy Gonzales is once again holding a triathlon training class at the Lehi Legacy Center.  The multi-week class ranges from $70.00-$92.00 depending on if you are a Lehi Legacy Center member.  Both members and non-members are welcome.

 

A separate swim-only class is also being held for Lehi Legacy Center members only and is from 7:00-8:00am.  The cost is $30.00.
