- Sign Up Now!: Team registrations are rolling in, and the GMR is on
track to be bigger and better than ever in 2007. Remember, you do
not have to have your entire team roster finalized in order to sign
up - reserve your place now! Although the registration program asks
you to list your team members now, final team rosters are not due
until May 1, 2007, and can be amended up to that date.

- GMR Corporate Challenge to benefit Special Olympics: Eight slots
remain open for the Corporate Challenge. Companies: Make your
donation of $1,000 direct to Special Olympics of Wisconsin and
Illinois and guarantee a slot for your Corporate Team in the 2007
GMR. This is a great opportunity to provide your employees with a
team-building event while supporting other athletes with special
needs.

- FILA Running Store Challenge: Talk to your specialty running store
about the FILA Running Store Challenge. Help your store win the FILA
Cup for 2007. Three competitive divisions have been established:
Men's Division, Women's Division, and Mixed Division (50/50
Men/Women). We are looking forward to a spirited competition!

- Special Olympics News: The GMR presented Special Olympics with a
cash donation early this year. "We at the GMR are grateful for our
relationship with this organization" said GMR relay director Joe
Pulizzano, "We look forward to another successful event in 2007."

- New Sponsor - The Avon Foundation: Since 1955, The Avon
Foundation's mission has been to improve the lives of women,
globally. The GMR is proud to join The Avon Foundation's Need for
Speed National Relay Series for the prevention of domestic violence.

- GMR Relay Fun Runs: Join us for the fun in Chicago on Saturday,
March 10, 2007 at Momentum (2001 N. Clybourn Ave.

www.universalsole.com). The fun run will be in a relay format, with
a raffle to win FILA gear and more. Tasty warm breakfasts will be
served too!
