That's Ray in the center of the threesome on the home page of this yahoo group.
It was taken at the City Run last year.
From the Louisville Courier Journal Saturday, April 30, 2005 "70-year old runner
not close to slowing down"My mom taught me nothing was more impolite than
starting a conversation by asking somebody his age, but my mom never met Ray
Parrella. The guy is 70, and he snaps off miles in six minutes and change as
effortlessly as he fixes a plate of lasagna. Sure, he's cut back his weekly
mileage from 70 to 40...http://tinyurl.com/g6a8x

"Parella is Runner of the Year" Louisville's own Ray Parella was recently
awarded the USATF over 70 Athlete of the Year. Ray has won the 70-74 age group
at the USATF Club Cross Country for the last 2 years and has set a pending
national record in the 10K. He was honored in the April 2006 issue of Running
Times as the top 70-74 runner in the U.S.
Ray started running in his early 40's to keep his daughter Rachel, who ran for
Jeffersonville High School, company. The rest is history, Ray has dominated the
local age group scene in Louisville for over 25 years. Just goes to show you
are never to old to start, nor old enough to quit. Ray also owns an Italian
restaurant, Ray Parrella's Italian Cuisine at 2311 Frankfort Avenue. Great
place to carbo load or just enjoy a nice dinner and glass of wine.
