The scheduled run for Saturday, Oct. 9 will start at 7AM in the parking
lot of the Amphitheater at Iroquois Park. Distance and pace will be
determined by those who show up.

Once again Cherokee Road Runner is putting on the Louisville Marathon.
This year we have the streets closed and plenty of police to direct
traffic.

We need volunteers at strategic locations to insure the runners stay on
course, cheer and offer assistance where needed. Last years race was the
most trouble free, all because we had experienced runners in key
locations. Volunteer's that know how the event should be run can make a
great difference in the success of any race.

Each of you were chosen because of your experience and knowledge. I truly
hope you will volunteer your time to help make this race as successful as
its been in the past.
