Hate to tell you this, but some of us old ladies
actually RUN a 1/2 marathon in 3 hours. We were
giving it our all, not walking. Still, I'm glad for
you and wish you much luck in Boston. Meg

Meg, I certainly understand. But for the $60 ($90 late) entry fee the runners' path to the finish shouldn't be obstructed. I know an older guy who was trying...

You're totally right of course. In the Anthem 5k the walkers were 6-7 abreast and I was trying for a PR and missed it due to them. Slower folks should be out...
