Only my experience here, but stretching reallys help me get the soreness out,
and makes it so I can use the muscle without pain.

I can't necessarily do any real work wih injured muscles, but it certainly
helps make it less painful.
This especially helps me with pinched nerves, and back stuff.
Sometimes, I manage to unpinch the nerve.

I am not much of an athlete, so others opinions may be better, but for me if
it hurts I stretch it out a little to ease the pain.

Very good point on the stretching. I was thinking that, but it didn't come out on paper (well virtual paper) that way. I have trouble stretching my hamstring...

Very mild stretching or with just sore muscles is good. Regular stretching with injured muscles is not good. Sometimes its hard to tell sore from injured and...
