If anyone is willing to share advice on injuries let me know. I am
dealing with a pesky injury that could be a hamstring strain. Except
for the pain I never seem to experience any other symptoms. Would a
leg cramp cause similar problems to a muscle strain? Basically a
tight sore muscle that take a week or two to start feeling better.
To avoid injury usually at the first sign of tightness/cramping I
stop running.
The leg feels fairly strong and show no sign of bruising etc,., Just
pain in the middle of the hamstring, which seems to spread when heat
treatment is applied. Could heat aggravate the injury by causing
inflammation or is this a normal symptom?
Any advice from runners who have experienced similar problems is
appreciated.
