is it still rocky, such that I should walk, on the first hill? I was
going to try my first ski of the season today. Thanks a lot for your
work on the trail.

Still rocky...I'd take the time and walk up even though the snow is good at the beginning of the hill. It's the middle of the hill that has a very thin layer...
